Umphafa Bush Camp, is located in the heart of the Mhlopeni Valley, with views up to the ridgelines and beyond from the fire place, with the Mhlopeni River running along side the camp, you get to stay in a haven of the best elements White Stones has to offer, right on your doorstep.
This gorgeous Bush Camp is both Rustic in experience and Functional in all its amenities.

3 Bedrooms (1 main bedroom + 2 smaller bedrooms), broken down into the following:

1 Main bedroom that can have 1 x double bed and 1 x single bed, or 3 x single beds.

2 Bedrooms with 2 x single beds in each.
All rooms are furnished and bedding is provided.

Option to add another 2 Beds into the rooms to sleep up to 9 guests.
The Umphafa Camp kitchen / bar counter, perfect to enjoy a cold one or a glass of wine with your fellow campers.

Or to serve food on as a functional counter space, you will have plenty of room to prepare and enjoy.
The Camp Kitchen, fully decked out with all the utensils, glass ware, crockery & cutlery that you will need for your stay.

Fitted with a 2 burner gas stove, with gas provided, you can enjoy a quick cup of coffee or hot chocolate around the fire place.

A sink with hot and cold water is ready to use when you need to clean up after a meal, (Unfortunately, doing the dishes follows us wherever we go! Haha! But at least, you get to enjoy your delicious POTJIE!)

The gorgeous fireplace, with a concrete Braai & a grill as well as a counter space. There are chairs, potjie pots, tongs & everything you need to self cater. There is an outdoor table as well.
You will truly be in the heart of the valley.
The best of memories are made around this campfire, sharing many tales of old and new that bring them back to life in the present moment.
Bond with your family & friends, and embrace nature on your doorstep, hearing the wildlife, the river close by, and the warm fire crackling. Smelling the food cooking and taking in the breathtaking sights to your left and right.
Umphafa has a hot shower ready for you, provided you stoke the “donkey” (hot water drum / bush geyser), I told you this was a rustic, down to earth experience!

Once stoked the water stays piping hot for hours, for the whole crew to enjoy a hot shower after all your adventures for the day.

- Renting for the Day for Events:

A R500 load of Firewood is included & provided at the camp, but is R500 per load, thereafter.
No children under the age of 6 Years are permitted on White Stones.
